And for the record, I am not the type of person that complains about my food or sends it back. I've worked in customer service for 25 years. The drive thru staff at Albemarle Wendy's needs a schooling in customer service.
How hard is it to show Some Kind of knowledge of customer service? A simple "HI" "THANK YOU" "HAVE A NICE DAY". Maybe THEN it would make up for the 15 minute wait in the drive thru for cold or missing food.
This place just needs to be shut down if they can't do any better. From the past 3 visits I've had I would say they can't! The employees are always rude, my order is always wrong, and it takes way too long to get it in the first place. I refuse to even attempt to have them fix my food with the attitude they have. God only knows what they would do to it! I WILL NOT be going back to this restaurant. There are far too many other choices around that have better food and employees who actually know how to properly do their job. Save yourself the aggravation and money and go elsewhere!
On a side note, I noticed the Sanitation rating of this Wendy's had dropped from the 100+ rating of the past to a current 95 rating.
I REALLY wish they would do some reevaluating of the staff here!!!! I didn't even want to give this location one star. The food is either cold or missing. It has always taken longer than the average fast food/drive thru establishment. I don't know if I've been so unlucky to get the same cashier every time I've come there or they just need to do a complete retraining on the drive thru Female cashiers. The drive thru cashiers have always seemed to be bothered by the fact that I am there to order food. I've NEVER been asked if I needed anything else (napkins, ketchup, whatever!) You don't get a "Hi!" Or a "Welcome to Wendy's!" It's always been, "order when ya ready" Then you sit there in silence after you tell her you are ready. When you pull up to the window, she opens it (eventually) holds her hand out, takes your money, then slams the window.... Opens the window, passes the food, then slams the window back! I've YET to hear her say ANYTHING TO ME. And this is the experience I've received every single time I've used the drive thru.
I went through the drive through this evening and was treated by the young lady at the window like I was bothering her or keeping her from something she would rather be doing. Her tone of voice was VERY aggressive. I feel the worst part of all was when she handed me my order, she opened the window, kept her back to me then quickly shut the window with no eye contact at all. Considering the many choices for fast food and the importance that other chains place on customer appreciation and genuine gratitude, this Wendy's franchise should retrain their staff.
The slowest Wendy's I have ever been to!!! And not just that, but I have sat here and watched them mess up 3 orders. I could understand it if they were busy, but I'm there's no one in the drive thru and there's 5 of us waiting on food!!!! This is ridiculous and the worst I have ever seen.
This was my third bad experience at Wendy's of Albemarle in a row, the dining area was not busy at all drive thru was busy and it took I felt longer than needed, very slow. I ordered a taco salad which when I arrived home realised I had to put together everything was separated, the chili was cold, then half way through eating it I found a long hair the salad didn't taste good anyway so I tossed it and my wife's son of baconator had maybe 1 1/2 pieces of burnt bacon. I don't plan on going back anytime soon. I know not everything can go smoothly all the time but this was such a poor experience
