this dmv sucks big time. don't even deserve a 1 star
Incredibly slow. This office is the definition of understaffed. It took me almost 2 hours to get an NC license (I've been working out of state for the past year and just moved back).
I love this office! They always take care of my family and coworkers. The phone system is the issue, Avaya is horrible, the nice ladies do not hung up on purpose. They may be understaffed, not their fault, but that is Raleigh's issue.
If I could give zero stars, I would! Worst experience at a DMV ever. Rude and in no hurry to help customers. I will drive the extra miles gladly to go to another DMV Office next time.
My problem with this location, like most DMVs, you've got people who hate their job. Why do you work with the public?? My daughter was failed her drivers test for that very reason! I know people who have screwed up on their test & still pasted, but not my daughter. Having a crappy day or in a bad mood is fine but don't take it out on someone who's worked hard to pass a test that they deserve and then give some lame excuse as to why (and YOU know what I'm talking about). Anyway, I hope that "power" made the miserable DMV lady happier because she obviously needed some joy in her life.
