Worst part the owner told me that it was my fault. Two tiered cakes need to be baked, filled and iced day before so that it has time to set in the fridge.
Ordered custom cake at last minute and descibed it over the phone - they nailed it. Beautiful work on the fondant and icing and the cake was tremendous. Thanks Sugarshack.
Horrific ... the cake fell apart. She made the two tiered cake same day actually when I arrived she was just finished icing it. The cake was not set! It slid the moment we started driving.

I usually stop at this bakery once every week or so. They have a great variety of baked goods and other items and a friendly staff. There are all types of beautifully decorated and delicious cakes for special occasions. The chess bars and brownies are awesome! I bought a pecan pie today, and it's just like grandma's! This bakery is a gem in downtown Albemarle!
